Responsibilities:

The Senior Hardware Designer will:

  • Develop hardware projects including the design, planning and scheduling in accordance with established procedures and guidelines as described in the Product Development Process.
  • Research new technology relevant to product directions.
  • Perform a technical analysis of proposed designs. 
  • Product hardware design documentation to communicate their design to other groups.
  • Work on a multi disciplinary team of software developers, mechanical designers, QA test engineers.
Main skills required:
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design.
  • Strong understanding of printed circuit design.
  • Strong technical communications and writing skills.
  • Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes.
  • Strong understanding of DFM, DFT, Design for EMC.
  • Experience with designing with MPUs (Cortex-A), MCUs (Cortex M), DDR3/4, WiFi, Bluetooth, CAN, RS-485, USB 2.0, 10/100/1000 Ethernet.
  • Familiarity with embedded Linux and MCU programming would be preferred.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to switch between multiple projects easily.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with EDA software (Altium Designer experience preferred).
Experience required:
  • 8+ Years Experience in an Electronics Hardware Design Role.
  • 2 Year Electronics Diploma.
  • Bachelors Degree Preferred.
